Stop Replacing. Start Fixing.

That earphone cable that only works when you hold it. The LED strip that went dark at one end. The speaker wire behind the dash. One broken joint, and the whole thing goes in the bin.

The Lumeo QuickFix Cordless Soldering Iron fixes it in less time than it takes to boil a kettle. No plug. No cord. No extension lead across the kitchen floor. Press and hold, watch the number climb to 350°C, and make the joint.

Anywhere from 200°C to 550°C, set to the degree. Small enough to live in a drawer. Serious enough that you will actually use it.

Reasons Why You Need This!

1.

No Plug. No Cord. No Extension Lead.

Every corded iron has the same problem. The job is never next to a socket. It is under the dash, behind the TV, at the kitchen table, out at the bakkie.

The QuickFix runs off a 2600mAh lithium battery, so the iron goes to the work instead of the work coming to a plug. When it does need power, it charges from the same USB-C cable as your phone.

“So much easier without a cord getting in the way.” Grant, Pretoria

2.

350°C in Twelve Seconds. Then Exactly Where You Want It.

Hold the power button for three seconds. Solder begins to melt at around the seven second mark, and by twelve you are sitting at the 350°C preset.

From there it is yours. Anywhere from 200°C to 550°C on the up and down buttons, held steady by PWM control. Lower for fine work on a board, higher for a thicker wire that pulls heat away from the tip.

The screen shows the live temperature and the battery level the whole time you are working, so you are never guessing.

“I like being able to see the temperature while I’m working.” Dean, Johannesburg

3.

The Light Is On the Tip.

A ring of white LED sits at the collar, right behind the tip, so it lights the actual joint instead of the desk around it.

No head torch. No phone propped against a mug. And no working in your own shadow, which is what happens the moment the light is behind you.

Small boards, dark corners, under a dashboard, inside a case. You can see what you are doing.

4.

Puts Itself to Sleep. Shuts Itself Off.

A gravity sensor knows when the iron is sitting still. Fifteen seconds of that and it drops into sleep mode, shows SLP on the screen and stops heating. Pick it up and it is back at temperature before your hand is steady.

Walk away and forget it, and after twelve minutes it shuts down completely. Between joints it sits nose-down in the aluminium stand, off your bench and out of the way.

It is still a hot tool. Keep it in the stand, work somewhere ventilated, and let the tip cool before you change it.

“The sleep mode is handy while I’m getting the next piece ready.” Michael, Cape Town

Change the Tip in About Ten Seconds

Unscrew the locking nut, drop in the tip you want, screw it back down. No tools. No surgery.

The tips are a C210 profile, copper cored with a stainless steel sleeve, so they move heat quickly and resist corrosion. The standard tip that comes in the box handles the great majority of small wire and board work.

And when a tip finally wears out, Lumeo stocks the replacement. You are not buying a tool that dies the first time a tip does.

“Knowing I can get replacement tips was a big plus for me.” Johan, Bloemfontein

The Stand Is Half the Tool

A hot iron rolling across a table is how people get burnt and how benches get scarred. The QuickFix comes with a matching aluminium stand that holds it nose-down and safe, with a detachable tray for the cleaning sponge.

In the box: the soldering iron, the standard soldering tip, the aluminium stand, the detachable sponge tray, ten replacement sponges and a USB-A to USB-C cable.

Not included, and we would rather tell you now: solder wire, flux and a wall plug. Any 5V/2A plug will charge it. If you want to keep soldering while it charges, use a 5V/3A one.

107 grams. Ø24mm across and 180mm long, so about the size and weight of a marker pen. The heat-resistant silicone grip stays comfortable, and at the recommended 45° working angle your hand is not fighting the tool.

Plug a 5V/3A supply into the USB-C port and carry on working. Wall charger or power bank, it does not mind. The 2600mAh battery charges fully in 1.5 to 2 hours, and a 5V/2A plug is enough to charge it when you are done.

Aluminium alloy barrel and stand, heat-resistant silicone grip, copper and stainless steel tip. It sheds heat fast, it shrugs off knocks, and the first time you pick it up you can feel it is not a toy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to plug it in to use it?

No. It runs off its own 2600mAh rechargeable battery, so there is no cord and no socket to find. Charge it with the included USB-C cable when it runs low.

How hot does it get, and how fast?

Adjustable from 200°C to 550°C (392°F to 1022°F), and it starts up at a 350°C preset. Solder starts melting at around seven seconds from cold, and it reaches the full 350°C preset in about twelve seconds.

How long does the battery last?

It charges fully in 1.5 to 2 hours over USB-C. Actual working time depends entirely on how hot you run it and how much metal you are heating, so we are not going to print a number we have not measured ourselves. If you need to work for longer, plug in a 5V/3A supply and keep soldering while it charges.

Can I really use it while it is charging?

Yes, as long as your charger can deliver 5V at 3A or more. A weaker charger will still charge the iron, it just will not run it at the same time.

What comes in the box?

The soldering iron, the standard soldering tip, the aluminium stand, a detachable sponge tray, ten replacement sponges and a USB-A to USB-C cable.

Does it come with solder or flux?

No. Solder wire, flux and a wall plug are not included. Most people already have solder, and the ones who do not are better off choosing the type that suits their work.

What can I actually fix with it?

Small electrical work. Earphone and headphone cables, LED strips, hobby and Arduino boards, RC and drone electronics, model railways, small switches and connectors, car accessory wiring, PC and console mods.

What is it not for?

It is a precision tool, not a workshop station. Thick cable, large metal parts, heavy continuous bench work, plumbing and structural joining need different equipment. Never use it on anything that is switched on or plugged into the wall.

Where do I get replacement tips?

From us. Lumeo stocks the replacement tip for this iron, so the tool stays useful long after the first one wears down.

I have never soldered before. Can I use this?

Yes, but soldering is a skill and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Practise on a scrap wire first, work somewhere with air moving, and keep the tip clean on the damp sponge. Ten minutes of practice and most people have it.

What is the warranty?

A 30-day money-back guarantee and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Where does it ship from?

From our distribution centre in Durban, South Africa. We use The Courier Guy, Skynet, DPD, Laser and Internet Express. Return for a full refund within 30 days of delivery.

Customer video review of Lumeo Pro Smart Pump 2.0

I used it to inflate my vehicles tire which was a bit flat, and it did the job very effectively and fast, with easy to follow instructions makes setting up a breeze. I used it to inflate my son's new rugby ball which made him happy. The selecting and setting of different pressures is very convenient for different and multiple uses. Battery life is also long lasting. The price is worth it to. Will be recommending to family and friend fore sure.

I am a keen adventure bike rider. I do a lot of off road and gravel riding so I am constantly deflating and inflating my tire pressure for riding conditions. The Lumeo pump does exactly what I need it to do every time and the battery seems to last forever.

Lumeo Pro Smart Pump

Always difficult to buy for my husband, as he enjoys buying for himself, and nothing left to buy. He has used it immediately (as well as lights we got) and made me order for my son and friends as well.

Lumeo was a referral by a colleague. Easy website; quick order; seamless delivery. Smart Pump 2.0 worked exactly as advertised. "Lekker" experience for a great product. Thank you.

Hi Guys My main reason for the 4 star rating on the Lumeo Smart pump is that the buttons are not as easy to function. I would have really preferred the previous format of button layout. Please consider changing your button format back to the previous version. Best regards, Caz

So I drive a motorcycle and having a tire pump with me is an essential piece of equipment that I always carry with me at all times. This tire pump has saved me from being stranded with a flat tire on 3 separate occasions now, so I am very thankful that I bought this amazing piece of traveling equipment.
